Guys,

I just came back from Jakarta for holiday with my wife yesterday (3/5/10). The trip was nice (for my wife especially).. It’s actually a trip down to memory lane for her because we lived in Jakarta before for 2 years and she worked her ass out just to support our family. I didn’t do a good job then, in terms of providing food on the table because at that time I have no income at all.. But I’m a good househusband.. LOL

Well after 2 years, we went to Jakarta again with only 1 (one) bag but returned with 4 “small” bags… and I actually didn’t buy anything… except the additional bags. LOL.. I guess she just wanted to take a revenge at Jakarta shopping malls for not being able to buy anything during our 2 years there..

Anyway, I lost contact with the world for 3 days and 2 nights because of her shopping spree…

First of all, I thought it’s enough for me to bring just my iPhone to Jakarta (it’s actually enough for me to do my internet business using my iPhone) but it turns out that I forgot to bring with me the international adapter that I bought during my trip to Bangkok last month and my iPhone was dead just after we reached the hotel.

So being stingy, I refused to buy a new international adapter and nobody can contact me (or vice versa) for 3 straight days. And from the time we touched down until we got into the plane back to KL, I have not contacted anybody or anybody can contact me which I feel kinda cool coz’ for the first time I don’t need my gadgets to stay alive in this world. But I do feel restless with my inability to connect to the outside world. I must admit that Jakarta is not a jungle (where I could not find an internet access) that I do not know what happened to the rest of the world but because of the shopping spree my wife had, I have not being able to connect to the internet and do my business.

But, guess what, after I reached my house at 1am in the morning, the first thing I do is to turn on my wife’s Mac and check my internet business and was glad that all my travelling expenses to Jakarta have been paid for from my internet businesses even though I didn’t touch the computer for 3 straight days..
